I use raquetball protection glasses, it’s around $7 at Target or Walmart.
It’s clear and has anti-fogging property.

Definitely a good option — I ride sunny days in a pair of Rudy Projects, which I like very much — but have taken to borrowing my son’s Smith & Wesson “shooting glasses”, purchased from Lowe’s for about $10 a pair, on dark days or for evening rides. They have clear models and high-contrast yellow tint. They even have a classic “sport” frame style similar to early-model Oakleys.

This is a great solution for riding glasses. I’ve been using safety glasses for years and you can find some pretty stylish options at Lowe’s, Home Depot and even Wal-Mart.

As for Geoff’s question about a remedy for fogging, use Cat Crap. It works great! Now for those of you who are not familiar with how Cat Crap helps with fogging, I’ll not explain, just Google it. 

This is exactly what I do! My boyfriend works in manufacturing and one time before a race I realized that I forgot my glasses. He handed me his safety glasses and was like- don’t worry about what happens to them they’re wicked cheap. Ever since then I’ve been using safety glasses! Way to pass this great info along too!

Have already a set of BBB glasses which have been just OK..they are for those of us who need additional prescription frames..One problem I have is the constant fogging of the lens at usually difficult moments..I have tried a number of solutions but non have been overly successful…does anyone have a remedy???

Good idea. I have a pair with a yellow tint that are nice in the evening when my usual dark tint is way too much.

This is a great idea and very well timed as I spent the earlier part of this week trying to dig some trail pokey out of my eye. I’d resolved to start wearing eye protection but have been put off by the high cost of name brand eyewear.
