I reckon that your reccomended spressures are a little on the low side considering the manufaturers reccomend a minimum at 35psi in most cases.

I run mine below 35psi- but often get pinch flats so i suppose that is trade off.

@Tony Enriquez: Some tires do not react well with Stans. Contact the manufacturer and see if they recommend using it or not. Stans can actually breakdown some rubber compounds.

I'd been running tubeless for at least 3 years. This month I had two sidewall tear in 2 consecutive rides- Vertical Pro UST 2.3 and Hutchinson Scorpion UST 2.3 both of them are brand new . I'm 150lbs running between 26-28 psi. I have Stan's on it but it can't fix a 1/8 tear.

I can't patch a sidewall tear either. Tried glue, epoxy, super glue, etc. I can't change my ride style coz I live in CO. What gives?

I've been playing with this lately and even tough I weigh 240lbs, I've found I can run my hardtails rear tire, 2.1 inch, at around 40psi.

I recently picked up a digital tire pressure guage, presta only, for under $10 so I could monitor this. Watch the between guage comparisons, as some the guages out there are less than precise measuring devices. My bro picked up a car tire guage the other day at an autoparts store and it was about 10psi off from the two guages I had, which were about the same.
