Sizing runs small or maybe we are too optimistic about our waist size. ;-)

I have found that sizing deal to be true on a lot of mtb shorts. Same deal on the Fox shorts.

So far...I have been impressed with both shorts...especially for the price. The detachable liners of the Stallions is a huge selling point for me though...

I have a couple pairs of the Hoss shorts and they are very nice, especially at this price point. I perfer the stallion style because they are less bulky and have the attachable chamois. The lightweight boardshort style shell is great for other outdoor hot weather activities. Both styles are holding up great after a year of commuting and MTB riding.

One thing I noticed is the sizing runs a little small on the shorts. I have a 33" waist and wear a size Large on the Hoss shorts.

I've been thinking about getting some Hoss stuff for while. They are well regarded among Clydesdales, and they carry bigger sizes; they may have XXL and XXXL stuff.

Those stallions sound interesting, i'll be interested to hear how it goes.
