What is Stans goo? I see nothing of the sort on Notubes.com I asked my wheel builder and he has never heard of this special goo either. "the goo is required to secure the bead and prevent leaks."

Typical AM bikes range in 150mm and 160mm rear travel configurations. 160mm of travel is 6.4 inches. Once you step up into the 7″ and higher travel mountain bike…things change dramatically. I do know some riders using these rims on full out DH rigs for what it’s worth.

You say in this review that the rim is suitable for bikes with travel ranging from hardtails to 6.4inches. How and where did the value of 6.4inches get calculated?
Otherwise very helpful review.
