BTW what was the total number of responses used? I know that some would count multiple times, but just the same.

What great information. I find myself liking the hardtail for its simplicity. I don't have to air up the rear shock and set the sag. Just go out and ride. Its lightweight and I don't get pedal bob during long climbs. The All Mountain are for the mountain bike parks with the chair lifts or my all day rides. It really is comfortable and plush. Its nice to see the great variety of bikes available. I feel very fortunate that I have an income that allows me to have more than just one bike.

I have four bikes in my garage, two hardtails (one vintage), an “All Mountain” and a trail bike.

The hardtails are for my local trails. Nice poll work up and results. The results speak for themselves really. I ride ( mostly ) my `09 Yeti 575 , because it goes down and up in equal amounts of ease. At 11kg, and a tick shy of 6" of travel, it should. Super size fun on the trails, and super sized trail cred in my book.
Keep up the good work on the blog.
From the trail riders down under !
