Ramped Riding - Mountain Biking Tips

The “Free for This Week Only!” promotion has ended. Please click the banner above for more information on Ramped Riding and how you can get your copy!

After a lot of missed deadlines and work, Ramped Riding is released to newsletter subscribers!!! A lot of work has gone into putting together this eBook and I am really happy with the result so far. Ramped Riding takes you from bike setup all the way to cross training as you continue your quest to become a better mountain biker independent of what style of riding you rip up every weekend. The goal was to bring universal skills and tips that will help any rider…regardless of style or ability level.

Free for this week only!

As promised…all newsletter subscribers and anyone else who signs up for the newsletter will get a copy of Ramped Riding FOR FREE! My way of saying thank you for supporting the site and keeping things rolling around here. Without you guys…Mountain Biking by 198 is just words on a screen.

After this week, Ramped Riding will go on sale for $19.95 with an affiliate program that will bring you 50% of each sale you refer if you choose to sign up. (details will come later on how to do that)

Looking for more input…

Now…since I still have some time before the paid release, I am looking for input from you guys on Ramped Riding.

What else would you like to see covered?

Anything you want expanded on?

Submit your input and get it added to Ramped Riding. At the end of the week, I will compile all of the notes…add the content…and send out one more free final copy to every newsletter subscriber.

Hmm, no email with download link yet, and when I log into the premium site I only see a couple of audio interviews.

    Am I jumping the gun?

Still no download link… the “Click here to get your copy” banner at the top, just comes right back to this page. Looking forward to seeing it.

    Steve and Tim…

Are you signed up to the RSS feed and not the email newsletter? The banner directs to this page to sign up for the email newsletter for delivery.

If you are signed up to the newsletter, you would have already been getting content and emails from me that are not posted on this site and summary emails that lay out the last 10 articles.

The newsletter is separate than the typical RSS feed. If you put in your name and email above, it will tell you if you are already subscribed or not.

All I saw was the feedburner email signup…had to use a different computer but I think I'm set now.

    Robb,
Love your site. Not digging the ebook. The content in the book is free on the bike198.com.

I'd recommend putting in a lot of new content and lots of pictures.

You are a great writer whom I enjoy reading and I'm willing to pay for good new stuff. I've bought two photog ebooks in the last month.

    Thanks for the great site.
    Jeremy

I'm signed up through feedburner as well as the email list… I got an email with this story from feedburner, but then I just checked the spam folder…. Doh! I clicked “Not Spam”

hi guys: i am ondoy from the philippines and i need a little help out here, i am just a new enthusiast of the 2 wheelers (3months) and i happen to love it already. i've been using a giant hardtail at this time but i already started to go out with the guys who love the dirt so i decided to purchase a kinesis ksx415 full suspension frame with a fox rp3 rear shox but, i am at a lost on what wheelset to compliment it with. I have been browsing the net and i found the crank bros cobalt, can anyone please comment on both the frame and the wheelset? it will surely help me come up with a decision.

    thank you.
