Had this installed on my Yeti ASR5c. I'm a weekend warrior weighing 150lbs. The one on my bike comes without the remote lockout.

Pros:
Lightweight
Adjustability
No flex

Cons:
Not as plush as I thought it would be (comparing with the Fox F RLC on my other bike)
Can never use full travel, at best 2 thirds despite setting sag at 25 - 30% range.

Overall quite happy with it.

The front revelation fork takes some time to tune up properly.
Started with 30% sag and recommended pressure for my weight.
This resulted in front end drifting in steep climbing.
Reduced the pressure gradually, and got much better performance.
Now I"m 30 PSI under recommended pressure and still can't manage to bottom down the fork.

This bike is a much better than my previous 2008 stumpjumper.
It climbs great, have much better response to pedaling and descends like a dream.I can now ride tracks I would not dare to try with the old bike.

Added a Rockshox Reverb dropper seat post - a must for this bike.
Great bike overall at an affordable price.

Fits like a glove - riding the Giant as is except for grips and bar ends. I am now waiting for my training partner on hills - it climbs like a rocket. Most impressed.

Just migrated to 29er from my trustee ARC and YBB. Had my first ride on it in light rain. Here's the summary

Set up: Air9 Carbon M size in white, Fox F29 90mm, SRAM XX 26/39T BB30, XO twisters, XO 9sp RD, XO 34T cogs, CK ISO hubs with NoTubes Crest29ers, EC70 580mm bars, Deda Zero100 80mm stem, Maxxis Ikons with tubes.

Current weight: 21lb 13oz.

Trail tested: Bukit Kiara trails; The Office - Coronary Bypass - Carnival - Chunder Junction - Shriners - Twin Peaks - Around the Mountain - Flintstones Playground - Lower Rock Garden - Lower Carnival.

Trail type: Technical single track.

Initial findings:
+ve Bike is sharp and fast
+ve Handling is unbelievably quick and responsive. Allowed me to make last minute steering with ease. Could be the 15qr.
+ve Very balanced but I believe this is the traits of a 29er
+ve Give a very comfortable and compliant ride. But I am not used to the noise at the drivetrain.
-ve Somehow, I felt that the frame is not as stiff as some other carbon xc frames out there, but I will revisit this after I have put more mileage into some fast trails over the weekend

Why 4* for performance? I believe no frame is perfect.
Why 5* for value? My local LBS made me a superb offer for the complete custom package, so 5 stars.

cheers

Changed to handle bars to to lo rise and upgraded wheelset to hope hoops crest 29er. Although the original giant wheelset isnt bad.
Took 5 minutes of my local 25km loop on my first attempt.
Took a while to get used to the wider turning circle, but once you realise you need to commit to the turn its all good.

Great bike , buy one, you wont be disapointed.

i have had it all, i have ridden it all and thought i found it with my beloved heckler from santa cruz. until this root beer colored beauty showed up at the front door.
since day '0' (i call it day '0' since some modifications took place) i felt extremely comfortable, relaxed and at home. the geometry is just perfect for my 6,3' body. going up has never been easier, going down, even though the big american classic flex a bit, is fast, secure and precise. on level, acceleration is non matched. the big wheels eat rocks, roots and bumps as it the mcr were a 150mm suspension bike. i have had it now for 3 months, have done all the trails i normally would ride with my other bikes (all sold in the meantime...) and the mcr just performes flawlessly.
regarding the design, it is an eyecatcher. the fine tubes draw attention, the color is wild. the only reason i stop during rides is to answer questions (i live in barcelona, spain); is this a 29'', what material is the frame... steel? no kidding....?, how does it behave in singletrack and bumby trails? and tight turns...? and climbing?
my answer is the same. i get of the bike, hand it over and let them spin a round or 2. their reaction..., ¿please, 1 more round, and do you want it back?
i think if found the ultimate bike for my kind of riding. thanks niner, and sorry for not getting one earlier.

Own the exact bike as shown. First 29er, honestly a surreal experience, never thought the technical stuff I usually struggle with could be so easy. Beautiful rolls over everything and is brilliant on the uphill and the downhill. Incredibly comfortable. Best bike I've ever owned and I will be riding 29'ers for the rest of my days...
