Some more great biking blogs…

April 24, 2008 8:31 am

I think I have mentioned this before, but from time to time…I am going to post up the blogs that I read on a daily basis. These are some of the ones that I have found that have really caught my interest.

BICYCLE DESIGN

Bicycle Design

With almost 1,400 subscribers and even more daily readers, I am not the only web surfer that has found James’ site incredibly interesting. He has a true passion for finding the new designs and prototypes on the market that will really catch your eye. Also, being a southeast native, we ride a lot of the same trails and have the same interests in biking. You might have noticed his recent post on Ham’s Wolfhound, and he is always on the lookout for new and interesting designs. If you find something that you think he might like, shoot an email. Also, check in soon for some great coverage of the Tour do Georgia because James received a press pass this year. In the meantime, check out his blog…it is worth the read.

THE CROOKED COG NETWORK

Twenty Nine Inches

650B

Blue Collar MTB

These three blogs are part of a blog network called “The Crooked Cog Network”. There are several more blogs that make up this network, but these are the ones that I read on a regular basis. TwentyNineInches and 650B are pretty self explanatory. They each cover news and thoughts related to mountain biking for the referenced wheel sizes. So far, I have found that they are the most up-to-date and interesting when it comes to these subjects. Blue Collar is more of a general news and product information blog on mountain biking as a whole. The Crooked Cog Network has done a great job of staying on top of current mountain biking news, and they also have some great coverage of Sea Otter. Check these out when you get a chance.

198 SIDE NOTE

I thought it is worth mentioning that when I post up these blogs it is because I really do find them useful and worth reading. I do not post up information or blogs by request. I do it to help out other blogs that I really find interesting. Most of the time, these sites and blogs will not even know about my post until after the fact.
