Mine ended up being mostly the cranks. After I got that issue resolved and greased the pivots...all creaking was gone!

hi rob! recently got a 5.spot frame and have ridden it a couple of times. noticed the same "creeking" noise at the bike's rear end. Not sure if it's the frame's pivots, the drivetrain or the chain. been trying to lube every single moving part but have not had any success.

the noise only becomes noticeable on the lower gears and on added loads (i.e. uphills and off-saddle pedaling).

any update on the fix? warm regards...

So far so good. I really like the versatility of this frame. I can throw on a 160mm or 140mm fork and the frame just performs. It still has that Turner feel too.

I am working on a creek right now though that is a little frustrating. There is a fix...so as soon as I finish that...I should be ready to writeup the final review.

I do like this frame better than the TM.

Assuming you've got some decent time on the spot now, I'd be really interested in additional comments and thoughts coming off the moto.

Thx,
JG

I suggest that you DO NOT ride it (it is a very addicting ride) and if you must, I'd take the Lyrik off the Ventana for the front.
